Game #2: Pat Burrell’s second double of the game drove in a pair of runs in the top of the 11th in a 6-4 win for Long Beach.
Game #3: Three home runs and a double add up to 10 RBIs for Glenallen Hill in a 13-1 reaming of Hampton.
Game #4: Jay Witasick went the distance for Hampton but still sucked as they drop their 4th straight in a 6-3 Long Bech win. jose Vidro had three hits including a home run and Mitch Meluskey went down to injury for about a week.
Game #5: Carlos Guillen homered twice from the 9th spot in the order to lift Long Beach to a 8-6 win over Hampton. Jerry Hairston was hurt for 15 days for Hampton but I don’t expect anyone to care since we don’t.
Game #6: Jeremy Giambi doubled twice and drove in three runs and earned a benching for helping Hampton rudely avoid the sweep in a 7-5 win over the Titans.
Series Summary: Long Beach takes all but one game. Phew.

Bohanon seemed to have lost it walking the next two batters to fill the bases with no outs. But that would be it. Bohanon puts it together as a Grade 2. Camoniti put one out, Bandits 5-3. Hidalgo grounded to third for the out but Loretta scored. In the next at bat Lowell went yard chasing Blair. Bandits 5-3. The Bums could only muster four hits against Grade 4 Guzman and in the 7th the Bandits go to the bullpen. Smart move Buck. In the 7th Bums Santiago doubled and Koskie singled to put runners on first and third with one out for the heart of the order. Thomas walked to fill the bases. Hidalgo flied to left. Giles made the catch. Santiago heads ofr home and beat the throw. Bandits 5-4. Timmons come to the plate with no hits in 8 tries in his debut series. He goes yard and put the Bums up 7-5. Bandits Palmer and Durazo singled to lead off the 7th. Giles grounded into a double play, but Ordonez ripped an RBI double. Bandits 4-3. Bandits Palmer and Giles doubled in the 9th for an insurance run. Tam entered to finish it. Tam struck out the first two and Thomas reached on an error. Does that keep his 40+ on-base streak alive? Hidalgo then grounded out.

Rios lifted a sacrifice fly by Vanderwal sacrificing himself to ive the Bums a 4-3 lead. Let’s see if Bohanon can change his season here. Nope as in the Bandits next at bat Davis singled and Frye doubled and doubtful manager pulled him. Lowell lifted a sacrifice fly to right to tie the game. In the 7th the Bandits Palmer doubled, Hernandez walked and Klesko singled to fill the bases with no outs as it seems the Bums just don’t have the horses to run with the Bandits.
