Game #1: Baltimore 13-12 (13 Innings). Some great hitting performances today. B’More’s, Chipper Jones, was 5-5, 3HR’s and 7 RBI’s. Meanwhile for Valdosta, Richie Sexson was 6-7, 2 HR’s 4 RBI’s and Manny Ramirez hit 3 HR’s of his own.
Game #2: Baltimore 6-5. Tim Hudson was ejected after knocking Manny and Karros out of the game with HBP’s. Blue Crabs held on for the win.
Game #3: Valdosta 6-4 (10 Innings). Warren Morris (having an amazing season, by the way) hit a 2-run HR to walk it off for the Bombers.
Game #4: Valdosta 10-4. Shane Reynolds improved to 12-5, with 6 strong IP. Crabs got 3 late against the porous Valdosta pen.
Game #5: Baltimore 10-5. More godawful pitching for the Bombers. Chipper hit his 46th HR and Michael Tucker hit 2 HR’s (9).
Game #6: Valdosta 4-3. HR’s-Bombers 3, Chipper Jones 1.
Series Summary: Very fortunate to earn a split. Larry Jones had a decent series…  11 for 24, 5 HR, 12 RBI’s.  This series had a crazy amount of offense!

Long Beach Titans @ Newark Bears

Game #1: Both teams get 14 hits, but the Titans turn the hits into 10 runs. Kris Benson was his usual crappy self allowing 6 runs in two innings.
