| Game #1: | Castle Rock jumps out to an early 4-1 lead and holds on in the 9th, after Devon White hits a 2-out, 2-run homer to cut it to 4-3. Pettitte pitched very well for Castle Rock, going 7 innings and allowing only one run. Easley delivered a 2-run shot for Castle Rock.

| Game #2: | Good starting pitching again buoys the Hounds as they take it 5-3 over Portland. Jermaine Dye delivers a HR for Castle Rock this time, as they bang out 13 hits on the day.

| Game #3: | Daryl Kile and Darren Dreifort look like modern-day Cy Youngs out there in this one, as they both go 8 innings without giving up a run. Dreifort shuts down Portland in the top of the 9th. In the bottom of the 9th, Bonds leads off with a walk, and Luis Gonzalez delivers a single to get to 1st and 3rd with nobody out. The infield is in and JT Snow grounds it to short and they get Bonds at home. But, Fernando Tatis Sr. delivers a single to score Gonzalez from 2nd and it is all over, with a 1-0 Castle Rock victory.

| Game #4: | The Portland offense, which was pretty dormant through the first three games, explodes in this one, early and often. It is a 12-3 final as the Mavericks deliver 17 hits on the day, including homers from Curtis, Ibanez and Zeile.

| Game #5: | Another tight pitching duel in this one, as Hermanson for Castle Rock and White for Portland go at it. It is 2-1 Portland after six innings and Portland tacks on another in the 7th. Castle Rock cuts it to 3-2, heading into the 9th. Tatis Sr. ties it up with a solo HR, as he has been clutch this series. Castle Rock gets a runner in scoring position in the 11th but can’t convert. In the bottom of the 12th, Todd Pratt delivers his fifth hit of the game and is lifted for pinch-runner, Jack Voight, who steals second. Luis Gonzalez delivers a single to right and Voigt outruns the throw from Hunter to win the game 4-3.
