Castle Rock Hounds @ DeWitt Tigers
Series Preview:	It’s the second home series for Castle Rock as they try to figure out what kind of they have. Scoring runs does not appear to be an issue so far. The Hounds come in at 10-6 while Dewitt is 7-9.
Game #1:	Eric Milton vs. Kenny Rogers in the series opener. Castle Rock strikes first with back-to-back doubles from Luis Gonzalez and Mieske in the bottom of the 1st. Dewitt loads the bases with nobody out in the 3rd, but Rogers gets Beltre to pop out, Sosa to strike out and Nilsson to fly out to end the rally. Gonzalez delivers an RBI groundout to make it 2-0 in the 3rd. Polanco delivers a two-out single to score Dye in the 4th and the lead is extended to 3-0. Snow piles on with a two-run blast to make it 5-0. After Tatis delivers a single (the 9th Hounds hit), Milton is pulled after just 3.2 IP. Sosa gets Dewitt on the board with a two-out double scoring Cameron to make it 5-1 in the 5th. Dye gets the run right back with an RBI single to make it 6-1. Castle Rock adds two more in the bottom of the 6th, as things are getting out of hand for Dewitt. The final is 9-1, Castle Rock as the Hounds crank out 18 hits. The offense was led by Snow (4-5, double and HR) and Dye (3-4, double, HR). WP: Rogers (1-1) LP: Milton (1-2) S: Schoeneweis (1)
Game #2:	Hounds fans are hoping that all of the firepower wasn’t used up in Game 1. John Burkett gets his first start of the season. He is only a 3, but he is a future star for the Hounds, so he needs to get some innings to stay on the roster. Esteban Loaiza takes the hill for Dewitt. Burkett has a rough debut, as he gives up a lead-off homer to Cameron to start the game. But, Burkett delivers a fine performance from there, only allowing one other run in the 3rd and leaving with a runner on 2nd in the 8th. But, Castle Rock can’t figure out Loaiza. After delivering 18 hits in the series opener, Castle Rock only has two hits in 8 innings off of Loaiza. But, fortunes change in the bottom of the 9th. Alfonseca comes on in relief and Gonzalez leads off with a walk, and is moved to 3rd by a Sweeney double. Bonds delivers a pinch-hit double and it is 3-2 with nobody out and a runner on second. Jermaine Dye then hits a triple to score Bonds and it is tied at 3-3 with a runner on 3rd and nobody out. Wells gets the pinch-hitter Hansen to ground out, but Easley delivers a single through the drawn-in infield to score Dye and complete the four-run ninth-inning comeback. Castle Rock takes it 4-3. Game #3:	Castle Rock is thanking its lucky stars to have won Game 2, as they send Hermanson to face Byrd in Game 3. Byrd gets out of a bases-loaded jam in the first with a double play grounder by Michael Barrett. Huskey gets Castle Rock on the board with a solo HR in the bottom of the 2nd. Beltre ties it up with a single to score Lee to make it 1-1 in the top of the 3rd. Nilsson delivers a single and Gonzalez commits an error to allow two runners to score to extend the Dewitt lead to 3-1. Easley delivers an RBI single to score Dye in the bottom of the 7th to make it 3-2, and Castle Rock has runners on the corners with one out. Snow delivers a sac fly and we’re tied up at 3-3. Tatis then delivers a double to score Easley and the Hounds take the 4-3 lead. Jeff Barry goes back-to-back to score Tatis and extend the lead to 5-3. Gonzalez wants in on the party as he delivers the third straight double and it is 6-3, Hounds. All told, Castle Rock plates five runs in the bottom of the 7th. Elarton pitches the last two innings for the Hounds and the final is 6-3, Castle Rock. WP: Quantrill (1-0) LP: Byrd (1-2) S: Elarton (2)
Game #4:	These Hounds appear to never be out of a game as their bats are hard to keep down. Dreifort takes the hill for Castle Rock vs. Sidney Ponson. Sosa gets Dewitt on the board early with a two-run HR in the 1st. But, Castle Rock comes right back and scores 4 in the bottom half, chasing Ponson after just .2 IP, as they bat around, and it 4-2 after one inning. Sweeney extends the lead to 6-2 with a two run homer in the 3rd. Barrett adds a two-RBI triple in the 5th to make it 8-2. Sosa is trying his best to keep Dewitt in the game as he delivers a 3-run shot to make it 8-5. The teams exchange runs in the 6th and 7th and it is 9-6, Castle Rock, heading into the top of the 8th. Reyes balks in a runner in the top of the 8th and Dewitt cuts the lead to 9-7. But, that is as close as Dewitt gets, as Benitez comes on to finish off the game for Castle Rock. Game #5:	Castle Rock keeps finding ways to win, as they hold the 4-0 series lead. Dewitt sends their ace, Bartolo Colon, to the mound to face off against Chris Carpenter for Castle Rock. Andruw Jones delivers a 3-run HR to give Dewitt the 3-0 lead in the first. But, Snow leads off with a HR for Castle Rock to get one run back. Sosa delivers a two-run double in the 2nd to extend the Dewitt lead to 5-1. Jones adds another HR in the 3rd to chase Carpenter after 2+ IP and 6 runs. Easley and Snow deliver back-to-back solo homers in the bottom of the 5th to cut the lead to 6-3. With the bases loaded, the Hounds pinch-hit Bonds for Huskey, but Colon gets him to strike out. And Dye flies out to end the rally. But, in the bottom of the 6th, Tatis delivers a two-run HR to make it 6-5. In the top of the 7th, Dye throws out Beltre at home on a fly out to keep it a one-run game. Castle Rock loads the bases (again) in the bottom of the 8th, with one out. Tatis grounds out for the second out. But, Easley sneaks a single to right, scoring two runs and giving Castle Rock the 7-6 lead. After a Luis Gonzalez walk, Sweeney singles to make it 8-6, and Antonio Alfonseca is going to have nightmares about facing this Hounds lineup. Cormier finally gets Bonds to end the rally, but it is 8-6 heading into the ninth. Benitez comes on to close it out for the second game in a row and the final is 8-6, Colorado. They come back from an early 6-1 deficit to take the 5-0 series lead. WP: Elarton (1-1) LP: Alfonseca (0-3) S: Benitez (7)
Game #6:	AIM kicks in, as both teams have bushed and tired players, but it looks like there is enough depth to handle it for both. It’s a rematch of Game 1, as Rogers faces Milton. Huskey gets the Hounds on the board first with a two-run HR after Petrick reaches on an error. Dewitt gets one back in the 3rd on a Bell sac fly. Luis Gonzalez delivers a clutch two-out, two-RBI single to make it 4-1 in the bottom of the 3rd. Spiezio delivers an RBI single in the top of the 6th to make it 4-2. Rogers is pulled after six innings, hoping that the Castle Rock pen can hold off Dewitt. Quantrill, Reyes and Benitez do just that, shutting down Dewitt for the final three innings and the final is 4-2, Castle Rock, as they get the rare six-game sweep. Despite only getting 3 hits in the game, they still pull off the victory. WP: Rogers (2-1) LP: Milton (1-3) S: Benitez (8)
Series Summary:	In the rare six-game sweep, the Hounds just wouldn’t be held back. The club is averaging nearly 7 runs per game with a .291 batting average and .884 team OPS. Tatis is leading the way with a .425 average.

Corktown Bootleggers @ Portland Mavericks
Series Preview:	The 13-3 Corktown Bootleggers visit the 3-13 Portland Mavericks.
Game #1:	Portland outhits Corktown, but Corktown gets the win. COR 9 POR 5
Game #2:	Another semi-close game, but Corktown breaks out with 3 runs in the 8th inning to get the win. POR 4 COR 6
Game #3:	Corktown wins again with steady offense. COR 8 POR 5
Game #4:	Mays pitches a one-hit Gem (4 walks, 1 earned run) for Corktown as the get the easy win. COR 8 POR 1
Game #5:	Portland in control 4-0 and with Sirotka pitching a shutout through 8. Corktown rallies for 2 in the 9th but Portland gets the win. POR 4 COR 2
Game #6:	In a barnburner, Corktown and Portland are locked in a back and forth battle into extra innings. But as Portland runs out of pitching, Corktown explodes for 5 runs in the 14th inning sending the Portland fans home disappointed. COR 14 POR 9
Series Summary:	Corktown wins the series 5-1, but Portland put up an effort. Corktown is now 18-4 and at the top of the league, and Portland, well… is near the opposite of that.

Long Beach Titans @ Michigan Mauraders
Series Preview:	Long Beach travels to Michigan for 6 games.
Game #1:	Long Beach 9 Michigan 1 Kreuter and Benard with 3 hits each. Jimenez wins his 1st game. Nixon hits a homer.
Game #2:	Michigan 15 Long Beach 14 Michigan with the 2 point conversion to win. LOL. Long Beach hits 4 homers and Carlos Lee hits 2 of them, but Michigan wins. Palmeiro, Williams, and Castilla hit homers for Michigan. Wickman with the win in relief.
Game #3:	Michigan 11 Long Beach 3 Michigan hits 4 homers. Aaron Boone and Mike Lieberthal with 3 RBIs. Aaron Boone with 4 hits.
Game #4:	Michigan 5 Long Beach 4 Holmes earns the win in relief. Chris Singleton with 2 RBIs. Brett Boone and Palmeiro hit homers.
Game #5:	Michigan 10 Long Beach 9 Chad Allen with 3 hits and 3 RBIs. Ayala with the win in relief.
Game #6:	Michigan 10 Long Beach 4 Radke wins his 2nd win and pitches better then in game 1. Brady Anderson with a double, triple, homer, but no single. He has 4 RBIs.
Series Summary:	Michigan improves their record after a slow start to the season. Michigan wins 5 of 6.

Chicago Demolition @ Fort Worth Panthers
Series Preview:	Home opening series for the Panthers, who are in 3rd place in the AL West 1 game behind Castle Rock. On the the league leader boards they’re first in batting average at .309, tied for second in home runs with 26, second best in runs scored, second best in slugging, 4th in steals with 19, and on top in on base percentage. The Demolition lead the AL in steals with 34. They’re in 3rd place in the AL Central 5 games behind Stockton.
Game #1:	Chicago ties the game at 1-1 in the 4th off a solo home run by Charles Johnson. His 4th homer of the year and the 2nd straight game he went deep. The Panthers would score the next 4 runs highlighted by an Edgar Martinez double and a Rondel White home run to pull away and take game one. Final Score: Ft. Worth 5, Chicago 2
Game #2:	Tony Clark hits a 2 out 2 run double in the top of the 8th to tie the game at 3 for the Demolition, but the Panthers roared back with 4 runs in the bottom of the 8th. Pudge Rodriguez led the inning off with his 4th homer of the season and was followed by Gary Sheffield hitting his 6th bomb of the year. A couple of singles later in the inning accounted for the final two runs. Final Score: Ft. Worth 7, Chicago 3
Game #3:	The Demolition scored early and they scored late winning easily behind 5 doubles and 1 triple. The only blemish starting pitcher Pete Harnisch allowed were a pair of solo homers to the Ft. Worth catchers. Final Score: Chicago 7, Ft. Worth 2
Game #4:	Both starters went the distance and Homer Bush gets the walk off win for the home team by singling home Doug Glanville who led off the 9th with a single and a steal. Final Score: Ft. Worth 2, Chicago 1
Game #5:	Surprisingly Mark Redman pitched well for the Panthers allowing one run in 5 innings pitched and Rich Aurilia delivered the go ahead run in the 5th with his 2nd homer of the year. Final Score: Ft. Worth 2, Chicago 1
Game #6:	Another 2-1 game and another win for the home team thanks to Edgar Martinez 2 run homer in the 6th. Final Score: Ft. Worth 2, Chicago 1
Series Summary:	Panthers take the series 5 games to 1 thanks to some key hits in 3 straight 1-run games to close out the series.

Game #6:	MTC 9 – STO 8 WP: Trombley LP: BJ Ryan SV: Miceli HR: STO–Glaus, Varitek, V. Guerrero despite outhomering Montreal 3-0, Stockton drops the finale by another oone-run score. MTC jumped out to a 7-2 lead, lost it on a five-run 7th inning, but came back for two runs in the 8th, and held on to win.

He also walked twice and stole a base MTC’s Dan Miceli had two Saves STO hit 14 HRs. Five players (Pokey Reese, John Jaha, Troy Glaus, Jose Hernandez, and the aforementione Guerrero) had multiple HRs in the series. MTC had four HRs in the series MTC’s Jim Leyritz was injured for 14 days in Game 4
