1999 OPENING DAY

Mid-West Winter League Opening Day, (The 30th, in Mid-West Winter League History).

Three new Franchises make their Mid-West Winter League debuts as the MWWL welcomes in, Montreal, Houghton & Southlake

Corktown is once again the favorite in the ALWW, with a bunch of teams jumbled together right below.

Chicago looks to be the favorite, but they will get a little trouble out of Southlake & Harper Woods.   Stockon moves from the NLE to a new home in the ALC.

California should win the ALW, but Fort Worth will give them some trouble along the way.  Portland & Castle Rock will be solid teams as well.

A showdown between any of the above-mentioned will battle for the American League Championship.

Santa Rosa is the clear-cut favorite in a team with two new franchises in the NLE.

Danbury, Michigan, Valdosta & Baltimore will beat each other up in the NLC.  Any team could win this Divison.

Blarney Drive should cakewalk the NLW.  Long Beach, Winnipeg, & new addition of Hollywood should keep this Division tight.

Any one of the aforementioned teams can walk away with the National League Championship.

It’s going to be a great season in the Mid-West Winter League & it all starts NOW!

The predictions are in, the first pitch has been thrown, and the 29th, Mid-West Winter League Season is now underway!
