| Game #4: | Valdosta 11-5. Wasn’t even as close as the score would indicate as the Bombers pen falters again late but they hang on for the win. Tom Candiotti was sharp again and improved to 9-6. Manny was 1-1 with a PH RBI single. |
| Game #5: | Valdosta 11-0. Grade 17 Orlando Hernandez didn’t make it through 2 innings as he was beaten like a red-headed step child. Manny got a start for the first time in the series and hit 2 HR’s and knocked in 6 before getting the rest of the game off. |
| Series Summary: | Bombers shockingly take 4 of 5. Manny Ramirez makes a pretty good case for player of the week as he went 5 for 8, 4 HR’s and 13 RBI’s and was a huge difference maker in the series. |
