1992 OPENING DAY
The anticipation of another Opening Day, (The 23rd, in Mid-West Winter League History) was at a fevered pitch when minutes before game time of the newly formed Corktown Bootleggers that Kurt Cobain sang the Canadian, United States & Mexican National Anthems. The Bootleggers were taking on the Demolition from Chicago. Chicago in the midst of a rebuild, while the Corktown team is could make a run for it, or they could pull up stakes & build towards their future.
