Fort Worth Panthers @ Janesville Juggernauts
Preview	The Fort Worth Panthers visits Janesville for a five game set against the Juggernauts. The Panthers currently sit in 2nd place in the American League East, while the Juggernauts are looking to improve on their recent success.
Game #1:	Game one sees the Juggernauts overcome a 2 run deficit to win the game 5-4, scoring 3 runs in the bottom of the eight. Bobby Bonilla goes 3/4 with a double, triple, 3 RBI’s and 6 total bases.
Game #2:	The Panther’s bats wake up in the second game, as they win easily 10-3. Martinez for Forth Worth goes 4/5 with two doubles and two runs scored. Smith wins his 10th game of the season with a quality start.
Game #3:	Game three is another nail biter for the Juggernauts, as they win 7-6 despite giving up two runs in the top of the ninth. Bonilla continues to rake the ball, as he goes 3/4 with two doubles, two runs scored and two RBI’s.
Game #4:	The back and forth continues in game four, as Fort Worth comes up big in the top of the 13th to win 7-4. A total of 13 pitchers were used by both sides in this extra inning affair. Series now tied at 2 apiece for the rubber game.
Game #5:	Forth Worth shows why they are on track for the post season as they take game five 8-3 behind Abbott’s solid pitching.
Summary	A well fought series by both teams as the Panthers win it 3-2. Next up for Forth Worth is a home match up against California, while the Juggernauts visit the windy city of Chicago.

Missouri Black Bears @ Sugar Land Skeeters
Preview	Division rivals Sugar Land and Missouri square off for seven games.
Game #1:	The Skeeters explode for 16 runs on five homers, including two three-run bombs by Biggio (7 RBI plus a single and a double). Gibson and Doran also have four hits each. Greene gets the 16-4 win.
Game #2:	Beuchele has three RBI and Devon White finishes a doule short of the cycle (3 RS 3 RBI). Anthony Young is mostly effective and moves to 5-0. 9-3 Sugar Land.
Game #3:	Another offensive outburst for the Skeeters. Gibson and White (wouldn’t you know it, he gets TWO doubles this game!) each have three hits. Bell and DOran two RBI each. Tapana moves to 11-11, 2.22. 12-2, Skeeters.
Game #4:	Missouri gets two homers from O’Brien and one from Juan Gone. Morris (9-8, 3.14) pitches six strong innings. Bill Doran injured for 11 games. 6-3 Black Bears.
Game #5:	Finally, a pitchers’ duel. Greene goes eight strong for Sugar Land. Bielecki seven for the Black Bears. Tied at 1-1 after nine, Cotto’s pinch hit Sac Fly is the walkoff winner, scoring Beuchele for the 2-1 Sugar Land win.
Game #6:	Gross pitches seven shutout innings and Williams and Juan Gone homer as the Black Bears hold off a fierce ninth-inning rally for the 3-2 win. Hollins hits a 2-run bomb for the Skeeters.
Game #7:	Anthony Young pitches eight innings, allowing 1 run and 7 hits and gets two hits and an RBI himself and scores twice. Griffey has 3 hits and two RBI.
Summary	Biggio goes 12-29, 2 HR, 8 RS 10 RBI. Young goes 2-0. Sugar Land wins 5 of 7. Doran has 7 days left on his injury.

Game #1:	O. Olivares v. N. Ryan MCT – 0 CAL – 15 W – N. Ryan (12-2) L – O. Olivares (5-10) HR – L. Whitaker (2), J. Olerud (GS), H. Johnson, T. Pendleton SB – P. Molitor (2), T. Pendleton, P. O’Neill CS – R. Lankford Not much to say. The Capitals scored early and often. Great offense and great pitching on the part of the Caps.
Game #2:	B. Krueger v. T. Gordon MCT – 7 CAL – 11 W – B. Harvey (3-2) L – D. Pall (1-5) HR – J. Clark, L. Whitaker (GS) SB – P. Molitor, J. Canseco, T. Pendleton, F. Cabrera CS – P. Molitor, D. Sanders Montana was poised to win this one, up 7-5 in the 8th. But a Jack Clark HR in the bottom of the 8th brought California to within 1 run, and Lou Whitaker walk-off grand slam put the last nail in the coffin.
Game #3:	R. Martinez v. G. Harris MCT – 1 CAL – 2 W – J. Poole (4-0) L – R. Martinez (7-12) HR – T. Pendleton SB – J. Canseco, T. Pendleton, R. Lankford CS – R. Lankford The offenses quiet down, but the Capitals get their 2nd walk-off win in a row, this one coming in the bottom of the 10th.
Game #4:	F. Tanana v. B. Saberhagen MCT – 2 CAL – 7 W – B. Saberhagen (13-3) L – F. Tanana (6-10) HR – J. Clark, P. Molitor SB – P. Molitor, H. Johnson CS – P. O’Neill, T. Phillips California relied on the top third of the order today, with Clark, Molitor, and Canseco going 5-12 with 5 RBI, 2 2B, 2 HR.
Game #5:	J. Rijo v. P. Harnisch MCT – 12 CAL – 7 W – J. Rijo (13-4) L – P. Harnisch (13-5) S – P. Assenmacher (3) HR – A. Belle, B. Harper (GS), R. Lankford, L. Gomez, H. Johnson, M. Nokes CS – J. Franco The Cutthroats’ offense busts out and puts California in its place, if only temporarily. Brian Harper was the star in this one, going 3-5 with a grand slam.
Game #6:	O. Olivares v. N. Ryan MCT – 4 CAL – 3 W – O. Olivares (6-10) L – N. Ryan (12-3) S – D. Pall (15) HR – J. Franco SB – J. Canseco, H. Johnson, T. Phillips, V. Hayes The Cutthroats find a way to hold off the surging California offense and pull off the 1-run victory to bring the series 4-2. This one was all about Julio Franco, who went 3-4 with a 2B, HR, and 3 RBI.
Game #7:	B. Krueger v. T. Gordon MCT – 2 CAL – 4 W – T. Gordon (9-2) L – B. Krueger (6-8) S – B. Harvey (25) HR – J. Canseco, S. Horn SB – J. Canseco, O. Smith CS – P. Molitor, H. Morris, J. Franco California finishes off the 7-game series with a solid pitching performance by Tom Gordon and a big night at the plate from Jose Canseco (3-4, 2B, HR, 2 R, 2 RBI, SB).
Summary	California takes 5 of 7 against Montana.

Mexico City Chihuahuas @ Chicago Demolition
Preview	Two teams with no where to go…
Game #1:	David West (2-1 2.86) goes 8, Jeff Russell picks up his 14th Save. Kevin Bass is 2 for 4 with 2 RBI’s. Final Score: Mexico City 4 – Chicago 2
Game #2:	Danny Darwin (3-8 5.05) goes 8, Billy Swift picks up his 10th Save on the season. Final Score: Mexico City 2 – Chicago 1
Game #3:	Teddy Higuera (2-3 3.38) gets the win, Jay Howell his 4th Save on the season. Reggie Jefferson has 2 RBI’s for Chicago. Final Score: Chicago 6 – Mexico City 3
Game #4:	Brian Holman (7-8 2.61) goes the distance & picks up the win & the Shutout. Wade Boggs is 3 for 4. Final Score: Chicago 1 – Mexico City 0
Game #5:	Ben McDonald (6-7 4.05) cruises through 9 Innings allowing only 2 Hits, yet 5 walks – & still gaining the Shutout. Gregg Jeffereis is 2 for 5 with 3 RBI’s for the Chihuahuas. Final Score: Mexico City 4 – Chicago 0
Summary *	Again two teams going nowhere & with nothing to win or lose in 1991.

Steel City Sluggers @ Valdosta Bombers
Preview	Valdosta plays host to Steel City.
Summary	A boring series where the Sluggers dominated. Bombers did salvage one game behind Tom Browning to avoid the sweep at home.

Michigan Marauders @ Long Beach Titans
Game #1:	Michigan rolled to a 7-1 win. Ripken drove in 3 and Palmiero added a 2 run HR. Kamieniecki gave up just 3 hits over 7 innings to pick up the win.
Game #2:	Michigan broke up a 1-1 tie in the 8th when they scored 3 on consecutive run scoring hits by Jackson, Palmiero and Ripken to win 4-1. Another strong outing by a Mauraders starter as Plesac gave up 4 hits and a run in 7 innings.
Game #3:	For the second game in a row, Michigan scored 3 in the 8th to break up a 1-1 tie. This time Randolph drove in the go ahead run in the 4-2 win. For the 3rd game in a row, the Michigan starter gave up just 1 run in 7 innings. This time it was Gullickson.
Game #4:	I don’t know if it has been like this all year, but Michigan seems to really like the 8th inning. For the third game in a row they scored 3 runs in the 8th to break open a close game. This time stretching a 2-1 lead to a 5-1 final. The key hit was a 2 run PH 2b by Murphy. Not to sound like a broken record but for the 4th game in a row, the Michigan starter gave up just 1 run in 7 inning. This time it was Nagy who came into the game with a 4-9 record.
Game #5:	In this game Long Beach finally kept Michigan off the scoreboard in the 8th. Unfortunately, the other innings didn’t go as well as the Mauraders won easily 7-2. Gaetti led the offense with 2 2 run 1Bs for 4 RBI. The Michigan starter again was excellent as Milacki gave up just 2 hits and a run in 6 innings.
Summary	Michigan dominated in the 5 game sweep.

Germantown Grays @ Winnipeg Goldeyes
Preview	Third place Winnipeg host the first place Grays in hopes of a big series to tighten the races. The Grays have a very strong lineup and a great pen but their starting pitching is not as good as Winnipeg. SO Winnipeg is hoping that their starting pitching can make the difference.
Game #1:	Benes was great 1 run in 7 inning but the gRays came back vs Freeman and Willis as they both blew saves for Selkirk. But int he 10th Vizquel doubled and Lonnie Smith drove him in for the win. WPG 4 GG 3 (11) W-Flannigan(4-2) L-Magnante (1-1) Homers: WIN Buhner and Scioscia GG none
Game #2:	Downing and Ventura homered for Winnipeg and Thomas hit one for Germantown but Winnipeg got the win. WIN 8 GG 4 W-Shaw(2-2) L-Deleon(5-7)
Game #3:	Tom Candiotti was great 1 in 7 and Flannigan got the save as Winnipeg won it 3-2 Thomas homered for Germantown but Sax hit one for Winnipeg. WIN 3 GG 2 W-Candiotti(13-3) L-Finley(11-5) S-Flannigan(4)
Game #4:	Smotz got blizted as Winnipeg won 10-1 with Glavine on the mound. Buhner homered and drove in 4 runs. WNn 10 GG 1 W-Glavine(13-7) L-Smoltz(5-4) Amazing Winnipeg up 4 games to none and close ground but that just pissed off the Grays
Game #5:	Guzman walked 7 but Winnipeg did not make him pay as the Gray win 7-6. Milligan and Devereaux homered in the loss. Thomas didn’t homer but had 3 hits. GG 7 Win 6 W-Guzman(3-4) L-Kile(1-1)
Game #6:	Caminiti hits a grand slam and Morgan was great allowing only 4 hits in 8 innings. Thomas, Caminiti and McRae all homered int he 8-0 Gray blowout. W-Morgan(13-4) L-Benes(11-5)
Game #7:	Flannigan blows the 2 run lead and the gray win on a Caminiti homer in the 10th. GG5 Win 4 W-Montgomery(11-3) S-Frohwirth(27) L-Freeman(1-2)
Summary	So Winnipeg does manage to win the series 4 to 3 but after being up 4-0 Winnipeg fans had higher hopes.

Detroit Stars @ Portland Mavericks
Preview	The Stars visit Portland. Shorter than normal write up because I am on a tablet.
Game #1:	Game 1 goes 15 innings before Portland gets the 6-5 win.
Game #2:	Portland explodes for an 18-1 win behind 5 HRs.
Game #3:	Another easy win for Portland 9-2.
Game #4:	Detroit rides a 3-run first inning to the 3-2 win.
Game #5:	Portland again by a wide margin 9-3
Game #6:	Detroit wins another close one 2-1.
Game #7:	Portland closes out the series with a 6-3 win.
Summary	Portland takes 5 of 7 from the starts to hopefully put some distance between the second place flying squirrels.
