Game #1:	4th inning the Bombers were up 2-0 when they scored 2 more – but wait, the 2 runs were erased on an appeal play, the runner missed the bag. 6th inning Manhattan storms back scoring 4 runs – but wait, the last two runs were erased on an appeal play, the runner missed the bag. Hadn’t seen that one in a LONG time, then twice in the same game. Valdosta then scores 2 in the 8th, that counted, and won 4-2. Reynolds HR (1). WP Gossage (2-3), S Guetterman (4). LP Worrell (0-1).
Game #2:	Garrelts gives up 9 hits (of the 12 hits by the bombers) but limits Valdosta to 1 run.. That one run was the only run in the game until the bottom of the 7th when Schofield hits a 2 run HR (1). In the 8th Dawson puts it out of reach (probably) with a 3 run HR (16). Game #3:	Manhattan all over this one as Mike Scott pitches well (for 8 innings). Up 8-1, Scott comes out to the mound in the 9th with a “weak” defense (subs) behind him. Next thing you know the Bombers are hits and drawing walks and forcing errors and scoring 5 runs. D.Smith finally had to come in and quell the riot. Final Manhattan 8 Valdosta 6. Game #4:	Kevin McReynolds drives in 5 runs on a HR (5) and double. With Manhattan up 5-0, the Bombers mount a charge in the 7th scoring 3 runs, 2 driven in on Wallach’s 2nd double of the game. Jones and Henke then keep the Bombers in check to preserve the win for Ballard. Manhattan 5 Valdosta 3 WP Ballard (6-5), S Henke (16) LP Candiotti (10-2)
Game #5:	2 run 1st for the Bombers (Wallach big HR (4)) is countered by 4 runs in the bottom half by the Gas Hornets. McReynolds again a big game, 2 for 3 with HR (5) and 4 ribs. Bombers get one more run in the game, Manhattan gets 4 more for an 8-3 win. WP Reuschel (11-1) LP Terry (3-5)
Game #6:	Bombers score 2 in the 8th to ruin Valenzuela’s shot at a brilliant shutout. He goes 7.1, 3 hits, but the 2 runs (including and rbi triple from PH Castillo, who then scored) tied the game at 2-2. Browning started and gave up single runs in the 6th and 7th, including a Jacoby HR (4). Game goes on, and on, and on into the 13th when Yount, with one out, hits one way out of the park for a walk off HR (11). WP Henke (1-2), LP Brantley (1-3)
Game #7:	Bryn Smith tosses a 4 hitter over 6 giving up 1 unearned run. Lee Guetterman than goes the final 3 giving up 2 hits and 2 walks – the 8th was a big one for him as he worked out of a 1st and 3rd with 1 out jam! Wallach gets 3 hits and 2 rbis as the Bombers win the finale 2-1 to bookend the series. WP B.Smith (6-6) S Guetterman (5) LP Garrelts (11-1)

Mexico City Chihuahuas @ Cedar Park Bears
Series Preview	After several seasons finishing at the bottom in the AL West, Mexico City has their sights set on their 2d Division title in 3 years. Cedar Park has rebuilt its team into another winning season but may be odd man out in the playoff run.
Game #1:	Two lefties get game one starts. Sid Fernandez sporting the top ERA in the AL would face off against the Bears’ Greg Swindell, who is returning after a 2 week injury. The Bears score one in the 1st when Evans doubled home Walton. MC scores 4 in the 3d Kevin Mitchell contributed a 3-run HR. Randy Milligan brought the game back to even with a 3-run strike off Fernandez it was 4-4. Sid got in trouble in the 6th and was yanked, but the Bears got another run, that run tied it again as MC had scored another run off Swindell in the top of the frame. That was the end for both starters, with the score tied, 5-5. The Chihuahuas rallied against Rick Honeycutt in the 10th, getting a run when Howard Johnson doubled home Len Dykstra, a PR for Santovenia. Game #2:	Pat Combs started for MC, Mike Moore for the Bears. Moore goes the distance, but gets very little support from his team that committed 6 errors and managed only 2 runs. Kevin Mitchell drove in 2 runs with a double in the 1st. Randy Milligan drove in two for the Bears with a triple in the 4th to bring the Bears within a run, but they failed to score anymore against Combs or Russell, who came in the 8th and got the save. Game #3:	Chris Bosio goes for the Chihuahuas, Greg Hibbard for the Bears. RBI hits by Gwynn, Mitchell, and Johnson stake MC to a 3-0 lead and the Bears were looking at a 0-3 series hole. However, Randy Milligan came through with a run HR, and Will Clark a solo shot in a 6-run 7th inning and the Bears came back to win it. Game #4:	Right-handers David Cone and Mike Boddicker take the mound for their respective teams. Both go the distance but Cone hurls a nifty 3-hit shutout to give Mexico City their 3d win in 4 games. Stung all season by the gopher ball, Boddicker serves up two 2-run HRs, one by Kelly Gruber and one by Tony Fernandez. Game #5:	Scott Sanderson started for Mexico City, Mark Portugal for Cedar Park. Sanderson, Swift and Darwin could not keep the ball in the park as the Bears hit 5 HRs. Game #2:	Storm Davis pitches his best game of the season, going 8 shut out innings scattering 4 hits, as Janesville wins a close one 2-0. Mitch Williams picks up his 15th save of the season.
Game #3:	Game three is another close game, as the Juggernauts win 5-4. Janesville now has 5 homers in the series.
Game #4:	This game is also a one run affair, as Janesville wins it 6-5. The Juggernauts rap out 3 more homers in this game, giving them 8 for the series.
Game #5:	California gets on the winning board, taking game five by another score of 6-5. Ryan gets the win improving his record to 7-7.
