T4: Blauser is hit by a pitch and he is knocked out for 15 games (ouch!).
T5: Bichette adds to the lead with a two-out double to make it 4-0, Flossmoor.
B6: Castle Rock finally gets on the board with a 2-run Bonds homer to cut the lead in half, 4-2.
B8: Tatis gets a two-out walk to bring up Bonds. Bonds gets an infield single to bring up Easley. Easley flies out and it stays 4-2.
T9: Fryman and Bagwell deliver security RBI for Flossmoor, as they extend their lead to 6-2.
B9: Olson closes it out for Flossmoor as they take the first game by a 6-2 final.

GAME #2 – Denny Neagle 15-14 (4.02) vs. Dustin Hermanson 13-6 (3.44)

Castle Rock has its back up against the wall.

T2: Flossmoor strikes first again, with Bichette hitting a sac fly to score Bagwell.
T6: after a bunch of quick innings, Bagwell delivers a 3-run homer to make it 4-0, Flossmoor. The Hounds are getting their golf bags ready.
T9: Walt Weiss delivers a two-out RBI triple to extend the lead to 5-0, Flossmoor.
In an amazing display of catching ineptitude, Chris Widger manages to have four passed balls in the game. But, it doesn’t really matter, as Castle Rock can only manage 3 hits off of Neagle, who gets a complete game shutout.
