1995 OPENING DAY

Opening Day, (The 26th, in Mid-West Winter League History) there was new blood & old blood as  all around the League, Stockton returns, Santa Rosa is a franchise move for Germantown – Castle Rock, Cincinnati & DeWitt all joined the league.   The season was scheduled for 140 games & everyone is looking ahead to the 1996 Draft where a new young group of players will be added to the League.  Flossmoor is the favorite in the ALE.  Detroit looking to take the ALC.   Forth Worth is the predicted winner in the ALW.    A showdown between Floosmor, Detroit & Fort Worth will bring on the American League Champions.   Santa Rosa (Formerly Germantown) should take the NLE.  No set team is that solid to assure the flag in the NLC, so we could be in for a dog fight.  Blarney Drive & Long Beachare going to battle & then battle some more in the  NLW, but no sure winner can be predicted.  The three teams (Blarney Drive, Long Beach & Santa Rosa will battle for the National League Champions.   It’s going to be a great season in the Mid-West Winter League & it all starts NOW!
