Game #1:	Missouri 2 Michigan 0 Burkett gives up 2 hits through 7. Whiteside tosses a hitless 2 innings for Missouri. Darnell Coles has a solo homer.
Game #2:	Missouri 4 Michigan 2 Darnell Coles with a triple and all 4 RBIs. Kevin Gross wins his 5th game of the year for Missouri.
Game #3:	Michigan 6 Missouri 5 Michigan blows a large lead, but gets a walkoff win on a Rafael Palmeiro double. Plesac with the win in relief.
Game #4:	Missouri 2 Michigan 0 (12) Darnell Coles goes yard and Mark Portugal with a solid 7 innings. Kenny Rogers gets the win.
Game #5:	Michigan 4 Missouri 3 (13) Another extra inning affair, but Michigan wins this one. Ripken with a homer. Henneman with the win. For Missouri, Coles gets another homer and Juan Gonzalez tacks on one.
Game #6:	Missouri 4 Michigan 0 Bielecki with a complete game shutout. Mike wins his 7th game. Scott Fletcher with a homer.
Game #7:	Missouri 9 Michigan 0 Missouri wins a laugher. Darnell Coles with 2 homers. Burkett goes to 12-5. Bonds and Galarraga also hit homers.
Summary:	Missouri wins 5 of 7 from Michigan. Missouri tosses 4 shutouts. Hitting star: Darnell Coles has 5 homers in the series. Only had 3 homers in real life for the season. Ouch.

Winnipeg Goldeyes @ Blarney Drive Bandits
Preview	NL West opponents square off for a 7-game set. Winnipeg is in a tight battle with Germantown and Long Beach.
Game #1:	McGwire drills two homers and drives all the day’s runs to carry the team on his back. Danny Jackson picks up win #4. WGE 4 BDB 0 W – Jackson (4) L – Blyleven S – None
Game #2:	Bandit’s hang a 6-spot in the 1st to chase Candiotti early. After 5 full Blarney Drive is up 8-3 but the lead is like sand through the fingers as the Goldeyes scor in innings 4-9 forcing extra innings at 8-8. Both bullpens toss zeroes through 16. Murphy allows a lead off single to speedy Otis Nixon to start off the 17th when the last Bandit in the pen, Hass, is called on. Nixon promptly steals 2nd. A bounce out gets him to 3rd with 1 out for Roberts to score him on a grounder to short. Hickerson holds down the fort to secure the Winnipeg win. Nixon 5-7, scores 3 runs and steals two bags. Ventura and Buhner each collect 3 RBI. Teams combine for 37 hits. WGE 9 BDB 8 W – Hickerson (3) L – Murphy S – None
Game #3:	Glavine mows down the home team allowing just 1 run over 7+. Rojas breezes to the finish and the Goldeyes take their 3rd in a row by a score of 5-1. Roberts 3-4 and McGwire drives in 4 again. WGE 5 BDB 1 W – Glavine (9) L – Stottlemyre S – None
Game #4:	Visitors pound out 17 hits and win easily. McGwire has a 7 RBI day as he continues to punish Bandit pitching. WGE 12 BDB 3 W – Benes (12) L – Wells S – None
Game #5:	Schilling vs Hanson and both starters do their job well. Goldeyes lead after 7 innings 3-2 but the Bandits get to Rojas and tie it in the 8th. With both pens still trying to catch their breath the last thing both teams want is extra frames. Winnipeg plates 1 in the top of the 10th and Blarney Drive couldn’t respond. Vizquel 3-5 w/ 2 doubles and 2 RBI.WGE 4 BDB 3 W – Rojas (8) L – Myers S – Beck (13)
Game #6:	Double-header day! Danny Jackson allows just 2 over 6 innings and the visitor pen was perfect. Lee Smith implodes in the 8th allowing 4 runs to blow the Bandit’s chance a win #1 of the series. WGE 5 BDB 3 W – Jackson (5) L – Smith (5) S – Rojas (18)
Game #7:	Night game of the two-fer and Eddie Murray staves off the brooms with a grand-salami in the 6th. Tony Pena picks off Devereaux off 2nd in the 6th to help spoil a rally. Blyleven helps out the pen by going the distance scattering 11 hits and 1 walk. WGE 1 BDB 6 W – Blyleven (4) L – Canditotti S – None
Summary:	The Goldeyes play some serious ball, taking 6 of 7, and hope to make some ground up on Germantown.

Chicago Demolition @ California Quakes
Preview	The scoundrels of Chicago travel to beautiful California for the girls and the sun. As for the baseball part of things, it’s looking dark and dank for both teams.
Summary:	California beats Chicago 4-3 in the 7-game set. Terrible baseball at its finest.

Manhattan Gas Hornets @ Valdosta Bombers
Preview	Manhattan comes down south to play Valdosta.
Summary:	No pitching and no offense by the Bombers equals a near sweep by the Hornets. Manhattan takes 6 of 7.

Sugar Land Skeeters @ Long Beach Titans
Game #1:	Perez threw a 6 walk no hitter. He wasn’t dominant and seemed to be in frequent trouble as Sugar Land left 7 men on base but still didn’t give up a hit in the 4-0 win. Gonzales had 3 hits and Justice 2 RBI to support his win.
Game #2:	Long Beach scored 4 in the 5th and went on to a 4-1 win. Grebeck had the key hit a 2 run 3B. Navarro gave up 2 hits in 5 innings to pick up the win. The bullpen threw 4 scoreless to close out the win.
Game #3:	Langston took a 1 hit shutout into the 8th when the wheels came off. Gonzales singled in the tying run and Baerga followed with a 3 run HR to make the final score 4-1. Merced drove in the Skeeters run.
Game #4:	An excellent pitcher’s duel between Tapani and Smith that was scoreless until the 10th when Sugar Land broke through for 3 runs. Daulton and White had run scoring hits to key the rally.
Game #5:	Long Beach broke open a close game with 4 runs in the 8th and won 8-3. Justice led the offense with 4 hits. Guzman gave up 3 hits in 8 innings and improved to 11-5.
Summary:	Long Beach won 4 of the 5 games.

Summary:	Flossmoor takes the series 4 games to 3.

Stockton Wings @ Fort Worth Panthers

Game #5:	Yet another extra inning affair, the Mavericks pull it out again in the 12th inning to win game five 4-3.
Game #6:	Portland’s offensive prowess comes to light as they rap out 22 hits in a 14-4 win over Janesville.
Game #7:	The Mavericks wrap up the series and win game seven 7-1 to take the series 6-1.
Summary:	Janesville looking forward to next year (again) but Portland sees itself starting to climb back into the race.
