All homers, all the time. Murray blasted his 18th in the second for a 1-0 Clovis lead. Dawson replied with a two run bomb in the 4th to put Manhattan up 2-1. In the 5th Greenwell slugged his 13th to tie it at 2 apiece. It stayed that way until the bottom of the tenth with two outs when Darryl Hamilton sent his first of the year over the fence to give Clovis the 3-2 walk-off win. |

Barfield drove home Henderson in the first, added two more on a double in the third as Clovis built a 4-0 lead. Gas Hornets fought back on a two run Joyner double and a Gerald Perry pinch hit home run but Meyer, Smith, and Myers shut the door out of the Clovis pen to seal the win. |

Murray crushed his 19th in the first to give Clovis an early lead. Harris never could find his rhythm as the Cougars piled up 8 hits in his 4 innings of work before Martin pulled the plug on him. By that time it was 5-0 and the only change to the scoring would be McReynolds homer in the 8th but it was to little to late for the Gas Hornets. |

Manhattan 5 Clovis 3
Bob Welch improved to 17-2 with 7 strong innings of work in the game. Santiago had three hits and three RBI to lead Manhattan. Smiley pitched credibly even after being awarded a 1 due to his itchy status but still took the loss. |

Clovis takes 3 of 5 from Eastern front-runner Manhattan. Manhattan takes on the Missouri Black Bears at home next week while the Cougars travel to Michigan to face the Marauders.
