1989 OPENING DAY – PRINCE PLAYS NATIONAL ANTHEM
Opening Day around the Mid-West Winter League – was opened with the first game schedule the – Traverse City Tigers were taking on the Detroit Stars.
First pitch was scheduled for 12:05 PM on Friday March 31st, 1989.
National Pop star – Prince opened up with a guitar rendition of the Star Spangled Banner.
